Alice M. Sheehan age 89 of Fort Wayne, IN and formerly of Holiday Lakes - Garrett, IN died Friday, July 7, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

Alice was born February 10, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN to Bernard and Mary Ann (Keenen) McGlade and they preceded her in death. She married Larry R. Sheehan on November 24, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN and he died February 12, 2013.

Alice will always be remembered as a lady.

Alice was a homemaker and partner of Sheehan's Hearing Aid Center and Imperial Estates Mobile Home Park. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church – Garrett, IN since 1964 until joining St. Vincent Catholic Church when they moved to Fort Wayne in 2010. She was also a member of the Rosary Society, Harvest House, Wings II at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Tri-Kappa Sorority and the Garrett American Legion Auxiliary.

Alice treasured her faith, family (especially motherhood) and friends.

Alice is survived by her daughter and son in-law: Rosie and Mark Oswald, Fort Wayne, IN; grandson: Dillon Oswald, Cincinnati, OH and Abby Oswald, Fort Wayne, IN.; 3 brothers: Bernard McGlade, Tampa, FL; Jerry McGlade and Emmett McGlade, Minneapolis MN.

Alice was also preceded in death by her brother: Michael McGlade

Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Garrett, IN

A Memorial Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Garrett, IN with Fr. Jim Shafer and Fr. Gary Sigler officiating.

Burial to be held in Cedar Creek Cemetery – rural Garrett.
