Alma Joyce Kugler age 84 of Swan, IN died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Orchard Pointe Health Campus – Kendallville, IN. Alma was born January 2, 1934 in Laconia, TN to Lavon and Alma L. (Clutts) Baker. She married Robert L. Kugler on June 5, 1954 in Angola, IN and he died May 4, 2000. Alma worked in assembly at G.E. for 27 years, retiring in 1998.

Alma was a member of the Avilla United Methodist Church and was a lifelong sports fan.

Alma is survived by her 3 sons: Glenn (Debra) Kugler, Wolcottville, IN; Brett Kugler, Avilla, IN; Dave (Elsie) Kugler, Avilla, IN; 6 grandchildren: Michael W. (Angie) Kugler, Albion, IN; Adam J. Kugler, Avilla, IN; Ashely N (Ryan) Robertson, Kendallville, IN; Matthew D. Kugler, Kendallville, IN; Samantha L. Kugler, LaOtto, IN; Gabriel M. Kugler, LaOtto, IN; 5 great grandchildren.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband: Robert L. Kugler; parents: Lavon and Alma L. Baker; 3 sisters: Bonnie Bishop, Carolyn Dusenoschon, and Peggy Hamilton; 2 brothers: Wayne Baker and J.C. Baker.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home.

Burial will take place in Swan Cemetery – Swan, IN
