Alva Mae Rowe, 91, of Garrett, died on Friday, January 29, 2010 at Millers Merry Manor Nursing Home in Garrett. Alva was born November 21, 1918 in Butler, IN to Howard and Ada (Mottinger)Curtland. She married Cecil A. Rowe on October 20, 1952 in Fort Wayne, IN. She was a homemaker. She is survived by 2 sons, Gary Rowe of Garrett and Duane Rowe of Rome City and a daughter, Joan Weeks of Iowa. Also suriving is a sister, Arlene Crager of Garrett, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. There will be no services.
