Amber Kay Mezydlo, age 72, of Westerville, OH formerly of Garrett, IN, passed away Sunday afternoon at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville following an extended illness. She was born December 31, 1935 in Wayne County, IN to Everett and Bessie (Roberts) Cramer. She had been a contract clerk for the Army Corps of Engineers. She enjoyed the out-of-doors, reading, and loved bowling. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Garrett, IN and is survived by her husband of 50 years, Edmund "Ed", a 23-year AirForce serviceman; her sons Mark (Jean) of Grand Forks, ND, Matt (Shari) of Westerville; 2 grandchildren Jane Marynic and Jesse Mezydlo; and 2 great grandchildren Lilly and Julian Marynic. Friends will be received at the Thomas Funeral Home, on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.. A Rite of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Garrett. Rev.Fr. Andrew Nazareth officiating. Interment will follow in the Marion, Indiana VA National Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Department of Neurology, 445 Means Hall, 1654 Upham Drive, Columbus, OH 43210.
