Andrew Gamble age 66 of Garrett, IN died at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2011 at his home. He was born August 11, 1944 in Hazard, KY to French and Dora (Perkins) Gamble and they preceded him in death. He worked in maintenance at Maverick Molding in Garrett, retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Garrett Eagles. Andrew is survived by a daughter and 2 sons: Andrea S. (Bryan) Leverenz of Garrett; Charles E. Mullins of Garrett and Jimmy D. (Christina) Gamble of Connersville, IN. He is survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ed Gamble of Houston, TX and Charlie Gamble of Mylan, MI; 4 sisters, Bertha Payton of Garrett, Emma Harter of Auburn, Eva McCelliam of Punta Gorda, FL and Carolyn High of Angola. Andrew was preceded in death by his former wife, Nyoka Faye Gamble; a brother, John Gamble; and sisters, Betty Payton and Alma Frost and 1 grandchild. Visitation will be from Noon - 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor David Jordan of the First Baptist Church - Laurel, IN officiating. Burial will follow in Embrey Cemetery - Garrett, IN. Memorials are to the family.
