Anna Lucile (Woodcox) Scheurich age 87 of Garrett, IN died Wednesday, May 11, 2106 at Parkview Regional Medical Center - Fort Wayne, IN She was born October 26, 1928 in Garrett, IN to W. Gray and Evelyn L. (Fickes) Woodcox and they preceded her in death. She married Russell M. Scheurich on June 21, 1947 in Garrett, IN and he died April 9, 2002. Anna taught music lessons and was a church organist at several churches. She was a member of the Garrett United Methodist Church - Garrett, IN, the Heimach Center, harvest House, Garrett Historical Society and RSVP. Anna is survived by a son: Merritt G. (Janet) Scheurich, Garrett, IN; 2 daughters: Leila L. (Glenn) Finley, Huntington, IN and Val M. (Brian) Black, Albion, IN; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her husband: Russell M. Scheurich; parents: W. Gray and Evelyn L. Woodcox; brother: Martin G. Woodcox and sister: Leona May Woodcox. Services will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at The Garrett United Methodist Church with Dr. Scott Shoaff and Pastor Tom Wilcoxson officiating. Calling will take place from 9 - 11 a.m. at the church.
