Ardith LaVonne Picklesimer, age 79 of Garrett, IN returned home to her heavenly father at 9:50 pm Saturday, June 9, 2007. She was born on May 27, 1928 in Garrett, IN to Otto and Rose (Weldon) Genda. She was a order packer at Stanadyne-Moen in Garrett for 35 years before retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Calvary Chapel Worship Center in Auburn, IN and she loved making quilts. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Steve Ardhuerumly officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett.
