Bonnie R. Grawcock age 91 of Auburn, IN and formerly of LaOtto, IN died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Chandler House - Kendallville, IN. She was born September 3, 1919 in Ada, MN to Charles M. and Ruth (Vraa) Gorrell and they preceded her in death. She married Albert J. Grawcock on November 8, 1941 in LaOtto, IN and he survives in Kendallville, IN. Bonnie was a teacher's aide at Alliance Industries for 23 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in LaOtto, IN and was a member of the ladies aide at the church and the Swanette Homemaker's club. Bonnie is survived by her husband: Albert J. Grawcock, Kendallville, IN; 3 sons: Jim (Kathy) Grawcock, LaOtto, IN; John (Betty) Grawcock, Ligonier, IN; and Leslie (Renee) Grawcock, Auburn, IN. She is survived by a daughter: Ruthann (Mike) Hervey, Wasilla, AK. 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles M. and Ruth Gorrell and a brother: Bob Gorrell. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery - Garrett, IN Memorials are to Heartland Hospice or Emmanuel Lutheran Church - LaOtto, IN.
