Bradley E. "Brad" Preston age 54 of Naperville, IL died April 25, 2012 at his home. Brad was born June 29, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Randall L. and Alice M. (Foote) Preston and they preceded him in death. Brad spent a lot of great times in the Garrett area growing up around his grandparents: Elmer M. and Helen B. Foote. Brad was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the Naperville School District #203 Transportation Department. He was a volunteer with the Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District and a member of the River Glen Presbyterian Church. He was very active in 18th Century Re-enacting and was a member of the Northwest Territory Alliance, Culpeper Minute Battalion, 4th Massachusetts and 1st Virginia Regiment of the Continental Line. Brad is survived by his loving wife: Phyllis Preston, Naperville, IL and a son: Christopher Anderson, Naperville, IL A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Christian Union Cemetery - Garrett, IN with Rev. Joe Laher officiating.
