Brenda Ann Gingery age 63 of Garrett, IN died Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Parkview DeKalb Hospital – Auburn, IN. Brenda was born June 22, 1957 in Crossville, TN to Edward Allen and Ruth Ellen (Handshoe) McCormick. Brenda married Roger W. Gingery on October 19, 1986 in Auburn, IN and he died June 1, 1991. Brenda was a clerk at Huck's convenience store at one time.

Brenda is survived by her granddaughter: Nevaeh Nicholas, Garrett, IN; brother: Chris (Linda) Burch, Garrett, IN; many friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father: Edward Allen McCormick; mother: Ruth Lacey; husband: Roger W. Gingery; son: David Gingery; brothers: Michael A, McCormick, Leo McCormick and Frank McCormick.

A Celebration of Life will take place at The Church of Garrett at 4 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 with Pastor Tom Wilcoxson officiating.

As per Governor Holcomb's mandate – face masks covering the nose and mouth are mandatory and social distancing will be followed.

Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN
