Carole A. Davenport, 69, of Garrett, IN died at 5 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Garrett. She was born on August 23, 1938 in Paulding, OH to Charles and Cecile (Wieble) Bland. She had been a Garrett resident since 1962. She married Larry K. Davenport on June 23, 1962 in Payne, OH and he died on June 25, 1988. She was a factory worker at Ball Brass in Auburn, IN for over 20 years, retiring in 1994. Private services were held at Circle Cemetery in Hudson, IN. Memorials are to the American Lung Association.
