Carolyn G. McClure age 88 of Garrett, IN died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor – Garrett, IN. Carolyn was born December 14, 1928 in Garrett, IN to Charles M. and Ethel M. (Dinger) Lewis. She married Warren J. "Jake" McClure on October 26, 1947 in Garrett, IN and he died October 22, 1997. She worked as a clerk at Wyatt's Hardware I Garrett.

Carolyn was a member of the First Church of Christ – Garrett, IN and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Carolyn is survived by 2 sons: Wayne Jeffrey McClure, Garrett, IN; Warren J. (Carol P.) McClure II, Exeter, RI; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband: Warren J. McClure; parents: Charles M. and Ethel M. Lewis; 2 brothers: Nolan Lewis and Charles Lewis; sisters: Marvene Murley and Wanda Smead and a great granddaughter: Molleigh McClure.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home

Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN
