Carolyn "Sue" Manning age 81 of Angola, IN passed away October 18, 2023 at Parkview RMC. She was born the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed. She was raised in Roanoke, IN. Her adult life was spent in Huntington, Ft. Wayne and Angola. She retired in 2001 from General Electric/BAE after 33 years of service.

The loving memory of Sue will be forever cherished by her husband of 47 years- Samuel Manning, her children: Debra (Michael) Blair, Laurie (Greg) Helgesen, Valerie (Mary Lou) Loebach, Samuel Manning II and Tammy (Jason) Gurden.  She is also survived by 3 siblings: Jerry Williamson, Warsaw, IN; Margaret Oakes, Mountainburg, AR; Mary (Steve) Sloan, Akron, ON. She loved her 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Dorothy (Vielhauer)Delmuth; daughter: Angelia Aker, 5 brothers, 4 sisters and grandson Travis.

She was a member of the Angola Assemblies of God. She spent her time quilting, gardening and spoiling her grandchildren.

Services to be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN.

Visitation will take place prior to the services from 9-11 a.m.

Burial to follow in Eel River Cemetery Ft. Wayne, IN

Memorials are to the family or the Angola Assemblies of God Church.
