Obituary

Charles J. "Bud" Brumbaugh, 85 died on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born August 30, 1924 in Fort Wayne to Charles W. and Margaret (Bowers) Brumbaugh. He married Pauline T. Fogle on August 14, 1942 in Fort Wayne. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a welder at American Hoist and Derrick for 43 years. He was a member of Angola Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Pauline T. Brumbaugh of Fremont, IN; 3 sons, B. Dean Brumbaugh of Brutus, MI, Randall and DeAnn Brumbaugh of Fort Wayne and Bryan and Marsha Brumbaugh of Fort Wayne; 3 daughters, Sandra and Glenn Kump of Waterloo, IN, Linda and Donald Bane of Richmond, IN and Crystal and Bob Flagg of Mulica Hill, NJ; a brother, Harry and Wilma Brumbaugh of Angola; 4 sisters, Ruth Dirig of Fort Wayne, Margaret Manges of Corunna, IN, Phyllis RockVam of Las Vegas, NV and Julia Puckett of Circleville, OH; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother - George Brumbaugh and a sister - Pauline Felger. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. The funeral will be held on Monday, November 16 at 1 p.m. at the Garrett Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Randy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery with a military graveside service. Memorials are to Disabled American Veterans
