Charles R. "Charlie" Gingery age 47 of Garrett, IN died Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at his home. He was born February 23, 1962 in Garrett to Leon and Maxine (Herman) Gingery and they precedded him in death. He married Darla "Dee" Imbody on January 5, 2004 in Auburn, IN and she survives in Garrett. Survivors include: Wife - Darla "Dee" Gingery, Garrett, IN Daughter - Tahsha Prater, Auburn, IN Son - Charles Gingery Jr., Garrett, IN Son - Kaleb Gingery, Garrett, IN Son - Jerry Horn, Garrett, IN Son - James Morris, Garrett, IN Brother - David Gingery, Garrett, IN Brother - Anthony Gingery, South Whitley, IN Brother - Michael Gingery, Michigan City, IN Sister - Maria Lund, Vancouver, WA Sister - Rosie Gingery-Gensure, VA Grandson - Izak Prater, Auburn, IN Granddaughter - M'Kenzii Prater, Auburn, IN Granddaughter - Lia Prater, Auburn, IN Preceded in death by: Parents - Leon and Maxine Gingery Brothers - Mark, Roger and Gerald Gingery. Visitation will be fron 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Home. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. William Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Garrett. Memorials are to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
