Charles E. Hall age 59 of Garrett, IN died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at his home. He was born October 22, 1951 in Prestonsburg, KY (Floyd County) to William H. and Ann (Slone) Hall and they preceded him in death. He married Edna J. Hull on December 13, 1969 in Angola, IN and she survives in Garrett. He was a tree trimmer for 26 years, retiring in 1997 from NG Gilbert - Muncie, IN. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church - LaOtto, IN. Charles is survived by his wife: Edna J. Hall, Garrett, IN and 2 sons and a daughter: Tony Hall, Auburn, IN; Thomas Hall, Garrett, IN and Kathleen (Warren) Fleming, Garrett, IN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Charles is survived by his brothers; Henry Hall, Angola, IN; Billy Hall, Zigler, IL; Art Hall, Bronson, MO; Rick Hall, Johnstontown, IL; and Mike Hall, Bronson, MO. Also surviving are 2 sisters: Kay Spurgeon, Fremont, IN and Lisa Burchett, Blueriver, KY. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: James Stanley and Frank Hall and a sister: Joan Hall. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Forrest Van Gundy officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery - Garrett, IN. Memorials are to the American Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Foundation.
