Charles "Chuck" Landrum April 17, 1952 - July 2, 2014 Charles "Chuck" Landrum age 62, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at his home in Garrett. He was born April 17, 1952 in Fort Wayne to Floyd D. and Esther E. (Meinzen) Landrum. Chuck married Janet M. Alter on October 5, 1974 in Bronson, MI and she survives in Garrett. He was a welder at Freuhouf Trailer for 15 years. He was a member of Hopewell United Brethren Church in Auburn. "He loved the Lord and demonstrated his rock-solid faith to many in the face of adversity. He had the uncanny ability to read people and always spoke his mind. Chuck's family was the center of his universe, and motorcycling was his passion. His footprint on this earth will be felt for many generations by those who were lucky enough to know him." Also surviving are a daughter, Tracy and Joe Dunn of Auburn; 3 sons, Paul and Sherry Voigt of Fort Wayne, Jason and Michelle Voigt of Auburn, and Kristoffer and Andrea Landrum of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren, Braxton, Emersin and Dominic Dunn of Auburn, Jasper and Lainey Landrum of Fort Wayne, Felix Parker, Austin and Tyler Voigt of Auburn, Vaida, Savannah, Joey and Landon Voigt of Fort Wayne; brother, Richard "Butch" Landrum of Bridgeton, NC and sister, Connie Teusch of Huntington. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Floyd Landrum Jr. and sister, Lorain Lechleitner Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 County Road 56, Garrett. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor John Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials are to Parkview Hospice.
