Charles F. "Chuck" Lantz age 71 of Turkey Lake – Hudson, IN died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at his residence. He was born February 17, 1946 in LaPorte, I to Charles Frederick and Bonnie (Allen) Lantz and they preceded him in death. Charles married Beverly J. Ronberg on October 19, 1968 in Fort Wayne, IN.

Charles was a Vietnam Army veteran and worked at B.F. Goodrich for 35 years, retiring in July, 2005. He was a member of the Orland American Legion.

Charles is survived by his wife: Beverly J. Lantz, Turkey Lake – Hudson, IN; daughters: Holly Zolman, Garrett, IN; Shelly Lantz, Kendallville, IN; son: Shawn Lantz, Garrett, IN; Grandson: Jeran Lantz-Robbins, Fort Wayne, IN; Granddaughters: Berlin Bowman, Auburn, IN; Janae Lantz-Robbins; Kendallville, IN; Emma and Anna Zolman, Garrett, IN; Kylie, Hailey and McKenna Lantz, Garrett, IN; sister: Patricia Painter, Fort Wayne, IN.

A calling in of friends and family will take place from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Friday at Thomas Funeral Home.

Military Honors will take place at 5:30 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN presented by the United States Army and the Garrett American Legion Post #178 followed by a Celebration of Life Service.
