Charles L. Marshall, 76, of Auburn, IN died on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at his residence. He was born on February 27, 1932 in Kansas City, MO to Robert C. and Virginia A. (Myers) Marshall. He married Nettie L. Thomas on January 16, 1954 in Kirbyton, KY. Charles was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran. He was a Steamfitter and Welder for Local Union # 166 for 32 years before retiring in 1993. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Auburn, IN, the Garrett American Legion Post # 178 and Local Union #166. He loved to fish and spend the summers at Hogback Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Kirbyton, KY; with Fr. Masilamani Suvakkin officiating. Burial will follow in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Kirbyton, KY. A rosary service will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
