Charles William Warstler age 93 of Garrett, IN died August 23, 2013 at DeKalb Health - Auburn, IN. He was born December 19, 1919 in Auburn, IN to Orange and Ethel (Long) Warstler and they preceded him in death. He married Elsie Mae Wilhelm in 1940 in Kimmel, IN and she preceded him in death. Charles was an iron pourer at Auburn Foundry for 33 years - retiring in 1981. Surviving are 2 sons and a daughter: Clarence Warstler, Garrett, IN; Michael Warstler, Auburn, IN; and Charlotte Whetsell, Garrett, IN. He is survived by a brother: Robert Warstler, Toledo, OH; 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Orange and Ethel Warstler, wife: Elsie Mae Warstler, son: Larry Warstler, 2 sisters and 2 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 at Christian Union Cemetery - Garrett, IN with Funeral Celebrant Ryan Myers officiating.
