Cheryl A. Miller November 6, 1943 - December 2, 2012 Cheryl A. "Chery" Miller, 69 of Garrett, died on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at her home. She was born November 6, 1943 in Garrett to the late Godfrey and Lela (Harrigar) Schlotter. She had worked for GE until her retirement in 2002. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Avilla. She is survived by two sons, Max Miller and Tom Miller of Garrett; a daughter, Tina Neeley of Garrett; a brother, Jed Schlotter of Oklahoma; two sisters, Becky Wert and Sharon Laws of Avilla; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Bob Schlotter and a granddaughter. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Avilla with Fr. Daniel Chukwuleta officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Avilla. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett and 1 hour prior to Mass at the church.
