Chris Neeley, 45 of Garrett, died on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at his residence. He was born October 20, 1965 in Garrett to Coy and Sheila (Beber) Neeley. He graduated from Garrett High School in 1984. He married Tina Miller on March 12, 2004 in Auburn. Chris was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and he loved music. Chris is survived by his wife, Tina Neeley of Garrett; his father Coy Neeley of Garrett, a stepson, Jordan (Kacy) Edsall of Garrett; brother, Jim (Nancy) Neeley of Garrett; sister, Robin Omspacher of Garrett; granddaughters, Hanna and Rylea Edsall of Garrett; grandson, David Edsall of Garrett; mother in-law, Cheryl Miller of Garrett; brothers in-law, Tom Miller of Waterloo and Max Miller of Garrett; nephews; Ben and Max Miller of Fort Wayne, Shawn Miller of Kentucky, Cruz Neeley of Fort Wayne, Seth and Brock Omspacher of Garrett; nieces, Macy and Kristen Neeley of Garrett and Pamela Thompson of Fort Wayne and several other family members and friends. His mother, Sheila Neeley, preceded him in death on March 13, 1978. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Garrett. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are to the American Cancer Society
