Christel C. "Kitty" Suter age 86 of Garrett, IN died Saturday, November6, 2021 at Kendallville Manor – Kendallville, IN. Christel was born August 28, 1935 in Berlin, Germany to Erich B. and Johanna E. (Mootz) Stachel and they preceded her in death. She married Harry W. Suter April 17, 1954 in Ft. Wayne, IN and he died July 10, 1996. Christel worked at Phillips in Auburn, IN for 11 years and also worked at General Electric.

Christel is survived by her daughter: Diane Zumbaugh, Garrett, IN; 2 grandsons: Michael Zumbaugh and Erich Zumbaugh, both of Garrett, IN; great grandson: Ricky Zumbaugh, Avilla, IN., brother: Jorg Stachel, Greenwood, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Erich B. and Johanna E. Stachel; husband: Harry W. Suter; son: Richard Suter; son-in-law: Michael Zumbaugh.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 20,2021 at Cedar Creek Cemetery - rural Auburn, IN with Pastor Tom Wilcoxson officiating.
