Clark DeVon Bergdall, age 74 of Auburn, IN passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Parkview-Randallia – Ft. Wayne, IN.  Clark was born May 1, 1949 in Fort Wayne, IN to Glen E. and Ruth C. (Gerig) Bergdall and they preceded him in death.  Clark married Susan Lynn Kruger on October 14, 1972 in Garrett, IN.

Clark was a water superintendent at Earth Construction, retiring in 2011. Clark was a member of the First Baptist Church – Garrett, IN. Clark was a member of the Garrett Fire Department for 30 years.

Clark is survived by his wife: Susan Lynn Bergdall, Auburn, IN; 2 sons: Adam (Kimberly) Bergdall, LaOtto, IN; Derek (Cassandra) Bergdall, Auburn, IN; brothers: Dean Bergdall, Ft. Wayne, IN; Randy (Kathy) Bergdall, Leo, IN; Rex (Vicki) Bergdall, Butler, IN; 4 grandchildren: Ashton Harris, Courtney Elliott, Brooke Parker and Gracelynn Bergdall; 4 great grandchildren: Ronan Parker, Jett Parker, Langston Elliott, and Lenyx Harris.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents: Glen E. and Ruth C. Bergdall; sister: Marvene Rose.

Visitation will take place from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN 46738 and from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the First Baptist Church – Garrett, IN

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the First Baptist Church – Garrett, IN with Rev. David Mix officiating.

Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN
