Clifford D. Riegel age 84 of Garrett, IN died Monday, August 10, 2015 at Lutheran Life Village - Kendallville, IN. He was born October 14, 1930 in Reading, PA. He married Shirley Baker Hall on April 10, 1958 in Garrett ad she preceded him in death. Clifford was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in WW II, Korea and Vietnam. He had worked at the Marathon gas station, before working at IPFW in their security department. Clifford is survived by 2 daughters: Carol Armstrong, Kendallville, IN and Sue (Hall) Blotkamp, Garrett, IN. Clifford was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Baker Hall Riegel, a brother and a sister. There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2014 at Cedar Creek Cemetery - rural Garrett. Military honors will be presented by the United States Navy and the Garrett American Legion Post 178.
