Craig A. Eicher age 46 of Garrett, IN died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.

Craig was born December 9, 1970 in Fort Wayne, IN. He was a crane operator at Paragon Steel – Butler, IN. He was a United States Army veteran.

Craig is survived by his loving partner: Bridget Schimpf, Garrett, IN; sons: Scott Eicher, WI; Sean Eicher, Garrett, IN; Travis Eicher, Garrett, IN; Nick Eicher, WI; granddaughter: Rylee Jane Eicher, WI; brother Brian Eicher, Ft. Wayne, IN; ½ sister: Nicole Eicher, MN; step sister: Kandy Stanley, TX; step father: Larry Inman, Pleasant Lake, IN.

Craig was preceded in death by his mother: Georgia K. Inman; step sister: Laura Inman

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, with services taking place at 7 p.m.

Memorials are to the Rylee Jane Eicher Education Fund or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana

Friends and family are invited back to the Thomas Funeral Home parking lot at 10 p.m. Monday for the launch of Chinese Lanterns.

Burial and military honors will take place at a later date.
