Obituary
Dale A. DePew age 72 of Corunna, IN passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Dale was born October 22, 1952 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Harold D. and Sylvia V. (Kettering) DePew. Dale worked at Therma Tru in production – retiring in 2022.
He enjoyed working as a blacksmith for many years. This is how many people in the historical reenactment and rendez-vous community knew him. He would travel around Indiana, Michigan,Ohio, and New York blacksmithing, iron mongering, and sometimes acting as a French grenadier with Les Compagnies du Détroit.
Dale is survived by his son: Zack (Casey Nemecek) DePew, Bloomington, IN; 2 sisters: Carol Paine and Linda Fleischman.
There will be no services held at this time
