Darwin E. "Sonny" Cobb Jr. of Auburn, Indiana March 22, 1945 - November 16, 2015 Darwin E. "Sonny" Cobb Jr. age 70 of Auburn, IN died Monday, November 16, 2015 at DeKalb Health - Auburn, IN. Darwin was born March 22, 1945 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Darwin E. Cobb Sr. and Eva M. (Brackney) Cobb. He was a machinist at Dana/Eaton Corporation for 41 years, retiring in 2007. Darwin was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church - Waterloo, IN; St. Luke the Physician - Hillsdale, MI; ad Children of the Resurrection Prayer Group. He was a past member of the Ft. Wayne Jaycees. Darwin protected and loved his family and had tremendous faith. Darwin is survived by his daughter: Crystal Cobb, Ft. Wayne, IN; his son: Jason Cobb, Fredericksburg, MD; his companion and best friend for the past 15 years - Dawn Mason, Ft. Wayne, IN; sisters: Barbara Goldsmith, Butler, IN and Dorothy Wolfe, Ft. Wayne, IN. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Daven Johnson, Breydon Cobb, Audrianna Cobb, and Tristan Maurer, all of Ft. Wayne, IN Darwin was preceded in death by his parents: Darwin E. Cobb Sr. and Eva M. Cobb; son: Shawn Cobb; sister: Josephine "Jo" Dicke. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church , 1098 C.R. 39, Waterloo, IN. with Fr.
