David Wayne Gingery, 27 of Garrett, died on Monday, May 17, 2011 from a work related accident. He was born June 7, 1983 in Auburn to Roger and Brenda (McCormick) Gingery; his father preceded him in death. He was a laborer at Power Clean. David was a member of the Church at Garrett and loved to fish. He is survived by his mother, Brenda Gingery of Garrett; a daughter, Nevaeh Nicholas of Garrett; grandmother, Ruth Lacy of Garrett and his uncles, Chris and Linda Burch of Garrett and Mike McCormick of Houston, TX. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56 Garrett, with Pastor Tom Wilcoxson of the Church at Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery in Garrett. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are to the Church at Garrett.
