David L. Rollins age 74 of Garrett, IN died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Parkview Regional medical Center – Ft. Wayne, IN. David was born February 16, 1946 in Wolf Lake, IN to Alfred L. and Martha (Rowe) Rollins. David married Sheri L. (Miller) Baker on March 10, 1990 in Churubusco, IN. He was a machine operator at Dana – Columbia City for 31 years, retiring in 1996.

David was a member of New Life House of Worship – Garrett, IN and a life member of the VFW and Garrett American Legion Post#178.

David was a United States Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.

David is survived by his wife: Sheri L. Rollins, Garrett, IN; 2 daughters: Jennifer Stanton, Ft. Wayne, IN; Kimberly Spurling, Columbia City, IN; step son: Douglas G. Baker, Garrett, IN; step daughter: Amy Baker, Garrett, IN; Granddaughter: Kayleigh O'Hair, Ft. Wayne, IN; brother: Larry Rollins, Churubusco, IN; 3 sisters: Judy Hogle, Churubusco, IN; Jo Beth Price, Arcola, IN; Betty Baker, Ft. Wayne, IN.

David was preceded in death by his parents: Alfred L. and Martha Rollins; brother: Rex Rollins

Private family services will take place at Thomas Funeral Home – Garrett, IN, with military honors to follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery – Auburn, IN. by the United States Army and the Garrett American Legion.
