Deloris "Dee" M. Bloom, age 79 of Altona, IN; died Sunday, February 11, 2007 in Garrett, IN. She was born May 9, 1927 in Huntertown, IN to John and LaVern (Yates) Hippenhammer. She married Robert "Bob" L. Bloom on April 26, 1947 in Altona, IN and he died on July 7, 2004. She was a special full time wife, mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 from 4-7 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home and on Thursday, February 15, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Pickard officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery.
