Doler E. "Cherokee" Bevis, 81, of Garrett, IN died at 1:03 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. He was born on August 18, 1926 to Claude E. and Ruth J. (Pierce) Bevis, in Redlands CA; they preceded her in death. Dolar owned and operated Cherokee Construction until his retirement in 1988. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home. Memorials are to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
