Dolores "Dolly" K. Steinbacher age 92 of Garrett and former Albion resident, died at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 at her home. She was born February 15, 1917 in Cortland, OH to John and Bessie (Boekeloo) Lakey and they preceded her in death. She married Charles L. Steinbacher on June 12, 1935 in Fort Wayne,IN and he survives in Garrett, IN. She was a member of the Garrett Nazarene Church and had worked at Montgomery Ward for 15 years, retiring in 1980. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. William Moore, with burial to follow in Thorne Cemetery - Wolf Lake.
