Dolores M. Kock of Garrett, Indiana March 29, 1927 - August 20, 2015 Dolores M. Kock age 88 of Garrett, IN died Thursday, August 20, 2015. She was born March 29, 1927 in Huntertown, IN to Charles and Mina (Tonkel) Soule and they preceded her in death. Dolores married William "Willie" R. Kock on August 6, 1949 in Garrett, IN and he died July 20, 2011. Dolores was a clerk at the Garrett License Branch, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church - Garrett, IN and Garrett American Legion Post 178 Auxiliary. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She and Willie were longtime members of the Garrett Country Club, where they enjoyed many rounds of golf together. Dolores is survived by a son: Ron and Kathie Kock, Crooked Lake, Angola, IN; 4 daughters: Sharon and Tom Shafer, West Lafayette, IN; Diane and Mike Hanson, Indianapolis, IN; Carol Easterday, Fort Wayne, IN and Susie and Hulen Branscum, Auburn, IN. 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren survive. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband: William "Willie" Kock; parents: Charles and Mina Soule; 3 brothers: Merle Soule, George Soule and Frank Soule. A gathering of friends and family will take place at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 Services will take place at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2015 with Rev.
