Dorothy M. Newman age 91 of Garrett, IN died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor - Garrett, IN. She was born October 4, 1920 in Fort Wayne, IN to Leonard C. and Irene (Wagerman) Huth and they preceded her in death. She worked as a production worker at Seiferts Potato Chips - Fort Wayne, IN for 15 years, retiring in 1979. Dorothy is survived by a son: Robert (Rosie) Newman, Garrett, IN; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is survived also by a sister: Phyliss Swank, Fort Wayne, IN and friend: Karen Maurer, Garrett, IN. Dorothy was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters: Elmer J. Huth Sr., Leonard Huth, Edward Huth, Mildred I. Huth, Mary Ann Fogle and Pauline Imler. Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 at Christian Union Cemetery - Garrett, IN with Pastor Richard Pickard officiating. Burial will take place at Christian Union Cemetery There will be no visitation.
