Doyle Goble, age 75 of Garrett, died on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn. He was born September 30, 1937 in Martin, KY to Earl and Virgie (Bradley) Goble and they preceded him in death. He married Dixie L. Lowden on June 10, 1978 in Garrett and she survives in Garrett. He served in the US Navy and attended the Free Will Baptist Church in Waterloo. Doyle retired from Auburn Gear in 2000 after 39 years of service. Also surviving are 3 sons, Dan and Sherry Hathaway of Ft. Wayne, Bob and Patty Hathaway of Waterloo and Joe Gossett of Garrett; 4 daughters, Deb and Dave Muzzillo of Auburn, Pam Flores of Garrett, Sherri and Doug Kee of Garrett and Dixie and Casey Stafford of Waterloo; 4 sisters, Dorothy and Randy Delauder of Garrett, Sue and Oscar Curtland of Hudson, Kathy and Larry Baker of Garrett and Jenny and Bill Pogue of Garrett; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Doug Goble. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Free Will Baptist Church, 2833 C.R. 27, Waterloo, IN 46793, with Pastor Ron Stambaugh officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Free Will Baptist Church.
