Dustin A. Deuitch August 8, 1972 - September 16, 2012 Dustin A. Deuitch age 40 of Garrett, IN died Sunday morning September 16, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center - Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born August 8, 1972 in Auburn, IN to Norman R. and Ellen M. (Garn) Deuitch. He married Jennifer C. DePew on December 1, 1993 in Garrett, IN and she survives. Dustin was a machine operator at Victor Reinz in Avilla, IN for the past 4 months. Dustin was a graduate of the Garrett High School class of 1991. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He enjoyed nature activities, spending many hours on his landscaping. He was an avid recycler and enjoyed music and movies. He was a member of the Garrett Eagles, Auburn Elks and the First Church of Christ in Garrett. Dustin is survived by his wife: Jeni Deuitch; daughter: Lauren Deuitch and a son: Lucas Deuitch, all of Garrett, IN. He is survived by his mother: Ellen (Donald) Oliver, Bluffton, IN and 2 brothers: Scott (Tammy) Deuitch, Garrett, IN and Joe Muzzillo, Florida. His maternal grandmother Francis Garn survives in Florida. His in-laws: Joe and Linda DePew also survive in LaOtto, IN. He was preceded in death by his father: Norman R. Deuitch and his grandparents: Norbert and Lois Deuitch who raised him and his brother. Also preceding him in death was his grandfather: Jerry Garn. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN. The services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Thomas Funeral Home with Brother Bud Owen officiating.
