Earl E. Creager age 84 of Garrett, IN died at 7 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at his home. He was born September 7, 1924 in Garrett, IN to Roy E. and Dell Marie (topper) Creager. Earl married Betty A. Weaver on August 17, 1946 in Kendallville, IN. He worked as a district sales manager for Chicago Metallic for 25 years, retiring in 1993. He was a WW II Army veteran and member of the Garrett American Legion and Garrett Eagles. Survivors include: Wife - Betty A. Creager, Garrett, IN Son - David and Cindy Creager, Garrett, IN Son - Tony Creager and Rhonda Listenberger, Garrett, IN Daughter - Pollyann Creager, Albuquerque, NM Grandson - Matthew Creager, Garrett, IN Grandson - Mark Creager, Fort Wayne, IN Great Grandchildren - Alyssa and Andrew Creager, Fort Wayne, IN Brother - Roy "Rosie" Creager, Garrett, IN Preceded in death by: Son - William Creager Parents - Roy E. and Dell Marie Creager Sister - Madelaine Zumbaugh Brothers - Wayne and William Creager A calling in of friends and family will be from 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Thomas Funeral Home, with services at 3:30 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Lilley Memorials to Parkinson's or American Heart Association.
