Edith P. Davidson age 93 of Goshen, IN and formerly of Garrett, IN died Friday, October 21, 2016 at Greencroft Healthcare - Goshen, IN. Edith was born January 19, 1923 in Garrett, IN to Walter and Shirlie (Smith) Davidson and they preceded her in death. She worked as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) at the Garrett Hospital, Miller's Merry Manor - Garrett, IN and Provena Sacred Heart Home - Avilla, IN, retiring in 1980. Edith graduated from the Garrett High School Class of 1941, Messiah College - PA in 1944. She did mission work all over the United States, before obtaining her LPN through the Fort Wayne Community Schools. She was a member of the Christian Union Brethren in Christ Church - Garrett, IN and attended Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church - Goshen, IN. Edith is survived by 2 sisters: Esther Davidson and Lois Pollard, Goshen, IN. Visitation will take place from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN. and from 9:30 - 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Christian Union Brethren in Christ Church - Garrett, IN The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Christian Union Brethren in Christ Church - Garrett, IN with Rev.
