Eileen A. Dunne age 95 of Garrett, IN died at 6:20 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Presence Sacred Heart Home - Avilla, IN. She was born March 28, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY to Walter A. and Sarah T. (Manley) Baker and they preceded her in death. She married Daniel J. Dunne on September 5, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY and he died on September 6, 1995. Eileen worked as a clerk in the McCrory Department Store in New York City. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church - Garrett, IN; the Harvest House and Rosary Society. Eileen is survived by a daughter: Kathleen Hyde, Garrett, IN; a son: Kevin Dunne, Fredonia, NY; 5 grandchildren: Sarah (Ryan) Wiedenhoeft, Ft. Wayne, IN; Katie (Luke) Parrish, Ft. Wayne, IN; Jake Hyde, Arcola, IN; Kerry Dunne, WA; Eric Dunne, NY and 1 great granddaughter: Whitney Wiedenhoeft, Ft. Wayne, IN. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel J. Dunne, parents: Walter A. and Sarah T. Baker, son in-law: Richard Hyde. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Thomas Funeral Home - 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Andrew Nazareth officiating.
