Elizabeth Zofia Kowalczyk age 76 of Garrett, IN and formerly of Prospect Heights, IL. died Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Ascension Sacred Heart Home – Avilla, IN. Elizabeth was born July 24, 1944 in Pecyna, Poland to Henryk and Halina (Zdunek) Kujawa. She married Tadeusz Antoni Kowalczyk on June 25, 1966 in Dlugosiodlo, Poland. Elizabeth worked as a private care CNA for over 30 years.
Elizabeth is survived by 2 daughters: Malgorzata "Gosia" Kulesza, Garrett, IN; Dorota Skotarski, Mississauga, Canada; Grandchildren: Zoya Kulesza, Colin Skotarski, Filip Skotarski, Eryk Kulesza; sister: Hanna Murawska, Warsaw, Poland.
Elizabeth was proceded in death by her parents: Henryk and Halina Kujawa; brother: Jurek Kujawa; sister: Barbara Kujawa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Holy Trinity Church, 111 S. Cass Ave, Westmont, IL 60559.
Burial will follow in Bronswood Cemetery 3805 Madison St.., Oak Brook, IL. 60523
