Elizabeth A. Parshewski age 62 of Garrett, IN died Monday, February 02, 2015 at DeKalb Health - Auburn, IN. she was born February 12, 1952 in Hammond, IN to Clyde and Edna (Stewart) Whitt. She married Edward R. Parshewski on May 23, 1986 in Garrett, IN and he died December 22, 1994. She worked in the warehouse at Electric Motors - Garrett, IN for 22 years. She enjoyed her "Fab 5" yorkies. Elizabeth is survived by her significant other: Michael E. McMeen, Garrett, IN and his family and her father: Clyde Whitt, Schererville, IN. She is survived by 2 sons: Patrick Parshewski, Auburn, IN and Allen Howard, Brookfield, IL. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Tammi Whitt-Paul, West Lafayette, IN and Terrie Dust, Schererville, IN. A grandson: Mason Howard, Auburn, IN. and several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her mother: Edna Whitt, husband: Edward Parshewski and a brother: Edward Whitt Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Thomas Funeral Home , 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN 46738. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Thomas Funeral Home with Brother Bud Owen officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Cedar Creek Cemetery - Garrett, IN. Memorials are to the DeKalb County Humane Shelter.
