Ellen Maxine McLaughlin age 92 of Garrett, IN and formerly of Muncie, IN and Cape Coral, FL. died Friday, October 9, 2015 at DeKalb Health - Auburn IN. Ellen was born June 19, 1923 in Temple, MI to John and Sara (Temple) DeNeen. She married Ralph L. McLaughlin on December 7, 1945 in Muncie, IN and he died May 22, 1995. She was a homemaker and member of the Garrett Eagles Axillary and the Garrett Post 178 American Legion Axillary. Ellen is survived by her daughter: Pam (Ron) Welbaum, Garrett, IN and a son: Doug (Laura Wengzen) McLaughlin, Auburn, IN. She is survived by a sister: Rosemary, Sterling, MI, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Burial took place in Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL.
