Erik B. Jacobs age 57 of Garrett, IN passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 in Garrett. Erik was born December 22, 1967 in Kendallville, IN to Henry Lloyd and Cynthia R. (Gillingham) Jacobs.

Erik was a union brick layer – re-bricking fire kilns, retiring in 2022. He was a United States Marine veteran – serving during Desert Storm.

Erik was a lifetime member of the VFW, member of the Garrett American Legion Post#178 and the Garrett Eagles.

Erik is survived by his mother: Cynthia R. Jacobs, Garrett, IN; daughter: Baleigh Jenkins, Angola, IN; sister: Ilsa Ginn, Garrett, IN; brother: Ivan Jacobs, Garrett, IN

Erik was preceded in death by his father: Henry Lloyd Jacobs.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 31,2025  from 2-6 pm at the Garrett Eagles.

Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 in Marion National Cemetery – Marion, Indiana

Military honors by the United States Marines.
