Obituary

Erwin A. Sellke, 92 of Auburn, died on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Parkview North Hospital. He was born April 30, 1919 in East Prussia. He served in the German Army during WWII. He married Anna Louise Schumacher on December 21, 1951 in Lage, Germany and she survives in Auburn. Erwin was a production planner at Kunkle Foundry for 30 years before retiring in 1982 and a lifetime farmer. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Garrett for over 50 years. Also surviving are two sons, Thomas Seelke of West Lafayette, IN and Frank Sellke of Newton, MA and 6 grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Garrett with Pastor Jeffrey Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery in Garrett. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Memorials are to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church
