Eugene C. Drzewiecki, 79 of Michigan City, IN, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010, at 7 p.m. at his home. He was born January 28, 1931, in Michigan City to Walter and Bernice (Gralik) Drzewiecki. On January 30, 1954, in Michigan City, he married Norma Sue Leslie, who preceded him on October 14, 1961. On February 16, 1963, in Michigan City, he married Joan R. Massonne, who survives in Michigan City. Eugene was member of Queen of All Saint's Catholic Church, St. Joseph Young Men's Society and served for 11 years in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He was an avid gun shooting enthusiast who enjoyed huntng and trapping. He worked in maintenance for Arno Tape, and then retired from the maintenance department from Sullair Manufacturing, Michigan City, and also for many years operated Eugene Drzewiecki Well Drilling Co. Also surviving are a daughter, Cathy (Andrew) Knouse, Michigan City; sons, Carl (Judy) Drzewiecki and Tony (Helen) Drzewiecki both of Michigan City, and Thomas (Tina) Drzewiecki of Garrett; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Ronald (Jeanette) Drzewiecki of Michigan City; and sister-in-law, Beverly Drzewiecki of Michigan City. Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. CDT Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Queen of All Saint's Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, with the Rev. Terrence Chase officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. CDT Friday, in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. CDT at Queen of All Saint's Catholic Church. A wake service will be conducted Friday at 5 p.m. CDT in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. Contributions may be made to Queen of All Saint's Catholic Church, 606 S.
