Freida E. Leach age 73 of Garrett, IN, died at 9:05 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at her home. She was born February 8, 1934 in Albion, IN to Dallas and Mary (Kessling) Leitch. She married Melvin E. Leach on November 12, 1954 in Fort Bening, GA and he died in 1977. She was a member of the Living Waters Baptist Church in Garrett, IN. She was also a member of the Garrett American Legion and the Red Hat Society. She was a Army veteran in the WAC division. Visitation is from Noon - 2p.m.Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Thomas Funeral Home with the services at 2 p.m. Burial in Christian Union Cemetery in Garrett with military services by the Garrett American Legion and VFW.
