Gary L. Rutter age 76 of Garrett, IN died Friday, September 29, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Gary was born March 15, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN to Art and Margaret Rutter. He married Christine K. Martin on November 12, 1994 in Renfrow Valley, KY. Gary was a truck driver, worked in maintenance and most recently did assembly work at Contech in Auburn, retiring in 1998.

Gary was a United States navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam era.

Gary is survived by his wife: Chris Rutter; children and spouses: Shaun and April Rutter; Sara and Aaron Brandon; Robin Rutter; grandkids: Ashlynn and Colton and Bayleigh and Timmery.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced by the family at a later date.
