H. Duane Lepard age 89 of Auburn, IN passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Duane was born July 20, 1935 in Garrett, IN to Howard and Mary Helen (Hansberger) Lepard. Duane married Jeannene A. Moses on May 22, 1958 in Garrett, IN and she passed away September 4, 2024. Duane worked as a machine operator at Auburn Gear for 34 years, retiring April 1, 1999.

Duane was a member of the Church at Garrett.

Duane is survived by 2 sons: Craig (Kim) Lepard, Garrett, IN; Steve (Tanya) Lepard, Concord, NC; granddaughters: Olivia Lepard, Wilmington, NC; Katie Lepard, Burlington, VT.

Duane was preceded in death by his wife: Jeannene A. Lepard; parents: Howard and Mary Helen Lepard; brother: Donald E. Lepard; sister: Doris Dapp.

Visitation will take place from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Church at Garrett

Services will take place at 2 p.m. at the Church at Garrett with Pastor Tom Wilcoxson officiating.

Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN
