Helen L. Finn age 88 formerly of Garrett and Lake Gage - Angola, IN died Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Towne House Retirement Center - Fort Wayne, IN. Helen was born May 2, 1928 in Kalamazoo, MI to John and Helen (Styzinski) Lubrick. Helen married Arnold Finn on July 9, 1948 in Kalamazoo, MI and he passed on January 1, 1993. Helen is survived by 3 daughters: Ethel (Bill) Yoder, Garrett, Auburn and Angola IN; Karen (Ron) Sanders, Angola, IN; Helen "Bobbie" (Lois Ventura) Finn-Will, Toledo, OH. She is survived by 7 grandchildren: Erica (Paul) Jamison, Huntertown, IN; Jeffrey Yoder, Chicago, IL; Melissa Hamilton, Burns Harbor, IN; Megan (Brad) Richards, Gaston, IN; Marcie Sanders, Sarasota, FL; Brandon Will, Liberty Center, OH; Bryant (Rachel) Will, Dayton, OH; 5 great grandchildren: William, Andrew and Benjamin Jamison, Huntertown, IN; Sophie and Sanders Hamilton, Burns Harbor, IN Helen was preceded in death by her husband: Arnold Finn; parents: John and Helen Lubrick; Brother: Nicholas Lubrick; sister: Marguerite Cook Helen was a member of Tri-Kappa Sorority and had volunteered for 19 years at the DeKalb Memorial Hospital gift shop. She loved to play in her bridge and poker clubs. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending her summers at Lake Gage for the past 55 years. Private family services will take place. Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery - Garrett, IN. Memorials are to the Garrett Public Library, Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
